Ixus 400, 4 megapixel cam: 4000 Y
its the size of a box of cigarettes and just as easy to carry. i used it a lot, but its still fully functional. It comes with 2 batteries and charger, which works perfectly here in Japan. it doesn’ t shoot MONSTER HIGH-RES pics, but it has a pretty good lens, is fast and one of the best snapshot-cams you will ever own. i also have a USB cable in case you need one.

MUJI’s price was 4200 Y. this is a simple clamplight which gives a nice yellowish shine and looks good everywhere you clamp it on to. lamp shade is transluscent.

Epson printer: 4500 Y
this printer reliably prints everything you can imagine. a basic model, but resultion is still quite high (5760×1440dpi) if you need it. Has a bit ink left in the 4 cartridges, which can be replaced individually. (1 cartridge ~ 1500 each). 3 full new color cartridges are included.

i don’t remember origininal price, but i checked ebay prices for the same model. its the standard model, not the *slim* one. comes with 3 games and charger which works fine here in Japan (mini-adapter needed). also has 1 GB memory stick pro Duo for saving and the like.

Hmm.. i have always thought that was great choice of camera. Its my first choice still, but I keep holding out for the next model in the hope that it will be a better deal. Rats, I should flex the plastic and buy one.
